Student Poster & Presentation Award Guidelines

TXSER will award 2 graduate student prizes for the best presentation and the best poster and 2 undergraduate & student prizes for the best presentation and the best poster.  Awards are judged on merit of research and quality of presentation.  Subject matter can address either terrestrial or riparian issues.  Students will receive their awards at the Saturday evening dinner. 

 

- All posters must be no larger than 44” tall and 46” wide.

- Posters may be up the entire conferece.  We will hold a poster session and social on Saturday evening for attendees to review the posters.

- All Presentations are 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions.

 

Note:  We must have 3 candidates in each category in order to offer the award. 

 

Please indicate on your abstract submission if you are interested in being considered for either the graduate or undergraduate & student awards.
