Camping
Thanks to the generosity of the City of Lewisville, the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) has opened its doors to those interested in camping.
Where else can you drift off to sleep to the to the Lewisville Chorus Frog Choir? It is a beautiful spot and the best deal in town!
Camping fee is......free
Please note that this is primitive camping in LLELA's restoration area. Campers can enjoy, and monitor, the Friday night fire site. Drinking water is available. Bathroom facilities are port-a-potties. There are no showers, electricity or camper hook-ups.
LLELA is approximately 22 minutes from UNT in Denton.
